Yes, this was shot back in February when, at the time, I did not know that the Helmsley Building is now owned by the royal family of Dubai, who bought it in 2006 for $705 million.
Dwarfed by what is now the Met Life Building, at night it still dominates the scene. The lantern as lighted - looking like the jewel in the crown - is no longer that of the "Queen of Mean", Leona Helmsley.
